The BTEC First Diploma in Public Services

 

This internationally respected qualification is equivalent to 4 GCSEs at A*- C level

The course mixes theory and practical elements with an emphasis on leadership, teamwork, communications, problem solving and fitness.

 

The syllabus has been designed to improve valuable life skills. Cadets learn professional CV preparation, interviewing techniques, communication, first aid, adventure training, health and nutrition.

 

For the Cadet Force there are three Core Units and three Specialist Units to complete to earn your BTEC.

 

Core Units

 

Uniformed Public Services Employment (The Project)

Deliver Project on ‘Understanding the Services’

Develop you own CV

Undertake an Interview

Public Service Skills

Complete Leadership Cadre or MOI

Complete Teamwork section of Workbook

Uniformed Public Service Fitness

Pass Physical Fitness Programme

Specialist Units

 

Adventurous Activities and Teamwork for the Public Services

Attend a Camp or Course
