Background
The 150th anniversary of the formation of the cadet movement will be celebrated in 2010. Planned events include a major celebration in or near the capital during the summer, as well as other events around the nation showcasing adventure, sports and cadet skills for Cadet150.
Requirement
The requirement is for design ideas which can be used to develop an official logo for all Cadet150 activities. The design does not need to be finished to professional standards but must contain sufficient ideas which may be developed for use in different media and provide immediate recognition.
Judging Criteria
The judging panel will be looking for a design that:
Provides the basis for a simple, eye-catching emblem;
Is unifying across all cadet forces; Communicates the characteristics of the Cadet Forces.
Eligibility
The competition is open to entry by any cadet or group of cadets (up to a maximum of 4) who is/are a member of the MOD sponsored Cadet Forces on 30 September 2008.
Entries
To enter complete the entry form and submit it with the design, which is to be on one side of A4 paper/card. A
ll entries must be submitted through your detachment commander/company commander and NOT sent into the organisers direct.
Logo Competition Prizes

Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

Grant of £1,500 for the winning cadet’s unit.

An invitation to the VIP reception tent at the national Cadet150 summer event in 2010.

The chance for your logo to be used on publicity material throughout Cadet150.
Closing Date
Entries should be submitted no later than 30 September 2008.
