Sawston Fun Runners Strike Again !

A well supported 23rd Sawston Fun Run took place on 27th April this year.

The event, which is run over five miles with start and finish points at Sawston Village College, secured over £15,000 for local charities.

Sawston Rotary Club organise the event annually and the local detachment of Cambridgeshire Army

Cadet Force under the leadership of Lieutenant Liz Hyslop is always ready to lend a hand.

" We enjoy supporting the local community and this is just one way in which the cadets can demonstrate that commitment", she said.

The cadets provided a refreshment table in Wakelin Avenue which was very well used as the stalwart runners completed the course.
