The County Headquarters and Weekend Training Centre situated at Denny End, Waterbeach, Cambridge is the "Home" of Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force.

The multi purpose Centre provides office accommodation for some of our full time support staff, and a weekend training centre sleeping some 100 Cadets and Instructors with classrooms, a .22 range, dining hall and Combined Adult Mess.

Our strength is approximately 600 Cadets with 100 Officers and Adult Instructors.

Located on the edge of Waterbeach Camp, which currently hosts 39 Regiment, Royal Engineers, the centre has the benefit of the disused airfield for training.

County Headquarters staff as shown in the 'Who's, Who' section of this website meet on Monday evenings between 1900hrs & 2130 hrs.

This is also the base for the full-time RFCA (Reserve Forces & Cadet Association) staff who, under the direction of the Cadet Executive Officer, provide professional support to the adult volunteer members of Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force.

Whilst the Commandant and County Staff are based here, they often travel the County on visits to Company Headquarters and Detachments

Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force has a structure based on three Companies each commanded by an officer holding the rank of Major.
