Fifty ACF and CCF cadets from around East Anglia took part in Exercise Cadet Stretch 2008  - organised by the Cambridge University Officer Training Corps at Waterbeach and Coldhams Lane TA Centre between 7th - 9th March.

Activities included mine clearance, drill, vehicle searches, military knowledge tests, patrolling, clay shooting and a night exercise. Five teams of eight cadets took part from private schools at Kimbolton, Perse, Woodbridge and Culford. Two teams of eight were entered by Cambridgeshire ACF.  The winning team was Cambridgeshire Team 1 lead by Cdt RSM Dave Gaskell. Each team member was presented with an etched glass trophy by the OC Cambridge CUOTC Lt Col Simon Grey MBE.
