Hinton has become the third detachment in Cambridgeshire to be affiliated to
the Royal British Legion. At their annual inspection on 2nd October 2007
Detachment Commander S/Sgt Peter Clark was presented with the certificate of
affiliation by Charles Hawkins, President of Cambridge British Legion. The
event was witnessed by Major Tom Denton, OC 1 Company, and members of the
Royal British Legion who had come to meet the cadets. Major Denton presented
the annual detachment awards.
