Friends, colleagues and supporters gathered at the Plough & Fleece, Horningsea on 19th January 2008 to 'dine out' retiring Commandant Colonel Roger Burgess OBE. A presentation of a silver cadet statuette was made by the new Commandant, Colonel Roger Herriot, and a lead crystral tantalus set was presented on behalf of the WO's and Sgts Mess by RSM Peter Lydiatt. Amongst many interests Colonel Burgess was best known for his keen support of the county first aid team. We wish him every success for the future.
