Corps of drums cadets from all around the county met at Fletton, Peterborough on 24th February. Drum Major Steve O'Brien from the Household Division (Welsh Guards) was on hand to give some excellent instruction in drill, deportment and instrument playing. At the conclusion of the day County Commandant Colonel Roger Herriot presented star level awards to Drum Major Sam Ibbett (4 star), Cpl Rob Evans (3 star) and L/Cpl Sam Davies (2 star)

CI John Shaw our County Director of Music was honoured with a Lord Lieutenant's Certificate for devotion to duty for his work with the band. Thanks to the efforts of John and Captain Lynn Herriot the Corps is now open to all Cambridgeshire cadets with an interest in music.
