At the beginning of June cadets from all three companies competed for the 'Guard Cup' in a military skills competition held at Waterbeach CTC and Barton Road range.

Activities included Observation tests, Casualty Evacuation, Patrols, Signals, Night Navigation and March and shoot.

No.2 Company won the day with 19 points, No.3 Company were runners up with 18 points, and No.1 Company scored 11points.  The presentation was made by the Deputy Commandant, Lt Col Roger Herriot.
