Thousands of people attended a high profile home coming parade of 1st Bn. The Royal Anglian Regiment at Bury St Edmunds on 23rd November 2008.  The soldiers have just returned from a dangerous tour of duty in Afghanistan involving close combat with the Taliban and tragically nine of their comrades did not come home. People from around the East Anglia region and beyond made sure that their sacrifice was honoured and will not be forgotten.
