The accommodation at Crowborough is of the older camp style. Recently it has had a massive amount spent on it replacing the old windows and state of the art heating system installed. The room we stayed in on the recce was in the officers accommodation. It was a nice twin bed room with ample draw space and wardrobes. There is a sink in the room with toilet, bath and shower facilities just up the corridor. We hope to make another visit to the camp and see the other adult accommodation.

 

Mess

The Mess is a large building with an entrance hall which has large rooms to each side of it. The room on the right is the bar and lounge area with the left room being an dinning area. At this time all meals will be served in the main dinning block which is the cadet's will eat with a separate adult area.

 

    

 

Dinning

The picture below shows the adult  area in the main dinning building as it is at this time. It is hoped that the wall to the left will have been removed by the time of our camp. This will open up the area and allow for a larger seating area.

 

 

 

For instructors who will be making the trip to Hythe Ranges your accommodation will be at Kent CTC. This new complex provides excellent facilities and is only a short ride away from the ranges.
