With the camp having its own Ranges most of the Intermediate Cadre activities will be on camp as the training area for Exercise Package is within walking distance of the camp. The only exception being when you head to Wales for the Adventure Training Package. There will be a 2 day Exercise Package, 2 Day Adventurous Training Package and the various camp activities mixed in. As is always the case with the first set of camp information being published the details are subject to change. Below outlines what we are hoping to include.

 

 

Shooting

There are a selection of ranges on camp for you to test your marksman skills!

 

 

 

Signals

There will be signals training taking place at camp by our County Signals Officer UO Hall. There will be theory work which will be balanced by hands on training with the different signals equipment we use in the ACF.

 

 

 

Motorcycle Experience

The aim of the Motorcycle Experience is to introduce young people to the skills of riding a motorcycle in a thrilling but safe and controlled way. You will also be taught how to look after and maintain a Motorbike.

 

 

Obstacle Course

There is an obstacle course on camp and as we have fully qualified staff we will be making use of the facility.

 

 

Adventure Training

The Exercise Package this year we will be in the unique training area at Nesscliff Camp. Within walking distance it is a diverse area with open space, wooded areas and buildings. The buildings can be utilised in the event of wet weather or as part of the training.
