Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force – Make Your Mark

Cadet And Community

Cadet And Community

Putting on a uniform does not mean ceasing to be an individual citizen. We all have obligations and responsibilities in society and a duty to support our community whether we wear a uniform or not.

Many examples of military involvement in the community can be found. The services are often called upon to assist the civil authorities during major disasters such as flooding, fighting heath and forest fires, providing first aid and medical support, mountain and air sea rescue. In addition to this, service personnel are regularly involved in charity work and fund raising in their local communities.

When you wear your cadet uniform you are identifying with this group of people who are dedicated to supporting and maintaining our national way of life. Be proud that you are re-enforcing your position as a member of your community.
