Being part of the Army Cadet Force is being part of a massive national organisation of 45,000 young people which is sponsored by the British Army.

Much of our structure is similar to the army, so it is important as a basic cadet for you to have a sound knowledge of the roles and traditions of both the Army Cadet Force and the British Army.

You will learn about rank structures, cadet force history, organisation of the army cadet force and also about the various arms and services of the British Army. This will include the regiment whose badge you wear.
