Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force – Make Your Mark

How To Join

Now that you have decided the challenge of being a cadet in Cambridgeshire ACF is is for you, what do you do next?

If you have any further questions you should contact the Cadet Admin Assistant (CAA) of the Company you wish to belong to (their contact details can be found on the contact page). They will be able to give you more specific information about the detachment you are interested in joining.

The best thing to do is pop along to the detachment you would like to join and see what goes on and get a feel of the place. You should aim to arrive around 15 minutes after the start time as this gives the detachment time to have their first parade and get organised. You should meet the detachment commander who will be happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have. It is also a good idea to talk to the cadets themselves as they will be able to tell you what cadets is like and what you will be doing. The detachment times and name of the detachment commander can be found in the detachment location section.

You can go along on your own, with parents or better still take some friends along with you. You can try it out for a couple of weeks to see if it is for you, if not there is no obligation to stay. We are sure that you will enjoy what the cadets has to offer and will have a long and successful career with us

We look forward to seeing you soon!
