Today’s Army Cadet Force cannot operate without it’s 10,000 adult instructors – volunteer men and women from all walks of life who are committed to inspiring young people to achieve their best, whether it's learning how to canoe, reaching the next level of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, attaining a BTEC Diploma, or simply looking after themselves at annual camp.
Being an Instructor adds a whole new dimension to your life. You don’t need military experience and you will be able to put your existing personal and professional skills to use in a completely new environment, as well as acquiring an impressive set of new ones! It’s not just the cadets who learn – Instructors can attend a range of training courses provided free of charge in everything from adventurous training through to first aid and BTEC qualifications.
If you are over 18, seeking adventure, challenge, and can offer at least one evening a week to do something really worthwhile, this could be what you are looking for. You’ll never be out of pocket as personal expenses are repaid and a uniform is provided free of charge.
