Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force – Make Your Mark

Gallery

Because Cambridgeshire ACF personnel are always involved in a wide range of activities we gather many photographs of cadets and adults as a routine part of our role. Here in the gallery section you can take a look at what your colleagues, cadets and others are doing at our many events and training sessions which take place throughout the year.

If we are not able to cover an event for any reason we ask that adults and/or cadets send to us brief details of their activity together with some good clear photos. We can try to include them in the gallery (See submission requirements below).

You can either email photos to the webmaster or send them in on a disk to the webmaster at County HQ. It doesn’t even have to be an event - you can submit any ACF related photo.

Submission Requirements

For a photo gallery web page we require a minimum of 8 photos.

Photos should ideally be a minimum of 4 x 6 inches in size (that’s 1200 x 1800 pixels).

All photos must be of good quality, i.e. in focus, people’s eyes open – and no safety breaches or silly poses that would be deemed inappropriate.

In general, photos should never show:

a)    Actual or implied sexual activity of any kind

b)    Obscene gestures.

c)    ‘Gung Ho’ or ‘macho’ stances with weapons

d)    Cadet or adult sleeping arrangements or ablution facilities

e)    Cadets or adults smoking / drinking alcohol

f)     Cadets in swim wear (with some exceptions)

If clarification is required contact should be made with the County PRO, who retains the authority of the Commandant to refuse to publish any photograph which is inappropriate or which may bring the ACF into disrepute.

Please feel free to print them but remember they are Crown Copyright, so you must  contact us if you wish to use any in publications or for display anywhere, BEFORE they are used.
