Thirty Six ACF and CCF cadets from around East Anglia took
part in Exercise Cadet Stretch 2009 - organised by the
Cambridge University Officer Training Corps at Waterbeach
and Coldhams Lane TA Centre between 14th - 15th March 2009.
The
cadets were tested to the limit with tasks including sword
drills, military knowledge tests, command tasks, assault
courses and a night navigation exercise. Three teams of
eight cadets took part from private schools at Kimbolton,
Woodbridge
and Culford and two teams of six cadets were entered by
Cambridgeshire ACF.
The winning team was Woodbridge School CCF with
Cambridgeshire ACF being placed second equal together with
Kimbolton School CCF.
