Crossed Flags Signals Cadre
Twenty five cadets from all over the county met at Waterbeach this Easter Holiday to train for their coveted 'crossed flags' signals badge. Four fellow cadets from Suffolk joined us for the very first time and help was on hand from the Territorial Army (Sgt Karl Dabell), Beds & Herts ACF (Major Eddie Isaacs), and Birmingham UOTC (Officer Cadet Rachel Cox). The cadets had a great time learning the basics of military communication and on the final day trophies, badges and certificates were presented by Lt Col Jackie Allan TD, Deputy Chief Executive of East Anglia RFCA. St Neots cadets dominated the course with Cadet Ryan Warner (16 ) winning the cup for best cadet, whilst Cadet Carl White (13) and L/Corporal Rebecca Grogan (16) shared the award for best endeavour. Most improved Cadet was Robert Holt (17) from Fletton.
