Our newest detachment at Cambourne is growing fast under
Detachment Commander SI Sandy Grogan. At the second ever
Cambourne Youth Fest held on Saturday 27th June 2009
Cambridgeshire ACF were well to the fore with the Corps of
Drums giving a splendid display of musical skill whilst the
staff at the recruiting caravan and signals landrover
attracted some real interest amongst local people. The day
coincided with National Armed Forces day and support for the
ACF and the ATC contingent from 2500 Squadron at St Neots
was excellent. Parish Councillor and member of the Cambourne
Youth Partnership Michelle Stevens said," My daughter joined
the army cadets recently and loves every minute of it. My
younger daughter will be going as soon as she can."
Well done Cambourne Detachment - Keep up the good
work !
