20 Cadets and their 5
Instructors enjoyed an Indian summer at the local Festival
on Saturday the 19th September. Cadets from
Cherry Hinton and Cambridge detachments attended the annual
festival to recruit new cadets in the local area. The day
was a great success giving out numerous details to parents
and potential youngsters. The stand was the best yet with the
support of Signals and the weather ensured maximum turnout
from the public. SI Adams who organised the event said it
was the best event she has seen in the past three years with
many more stands and events taking place. Cadets enjoyed the climbing wall provided
by the Army along with fun in the cylindrical ball in which
L/Cpl Lebbon displayed his lack of balance. Thanks to the
access from the tanks stand all the cadets took the
opportunity to get a free view and pose for a picture. Thanks to the support of supporting
Instructors Major Martin, UO Gaskell and SI Pickup the
cadets where again praised by the organisers for their
assistance in providing a stall for the British Legion and
helping numerous stall holders to set up. Please feel free to print them but remember they are Crown Copyright, so you must contact us if you wish to use any in publications or for display anywhere, BEFORE they are used. |
