||
|
On the weekend of the 16th to 18th October twenty three senior cadets and their four adult instructors took part in exercise ‘Steelback Cadet’ Based at Wretham Camp, Norfolk. This annual event hosted by the Royal Anglian Regiment invites cadets from all over the region to take part in this demanding weekend. Activities include shooting, signals, paint balling, observation and mine clearance. Their ability to work as a team was tested to the full in three challenging command tasks. The cadets also took part in a night patrol with an added element to test their first aid skills.
Interest stands were set up to show the cadets
the types of equipment used by the soldiers on operations. This
gave the cadets the opportunity to ask many questions, examine
and in some cases use some of the equipment on display.
