1 Company Xmas Camp |

|
The Weekend of the 27th November
was 1 Company’s Christmas camp. High on the agenda was weapons
training with the junior cadets learning the No. 8 Rifle and
shooting on the range while the intermediate cadets got their
hands on the new cadet rifle. Seniors also trained with the new
weapon as well as doing fieldcraft training. Saturday evening
was the Christmas dinner with the cadets being served by the
instructors including a Christmas tree, elves, Santa and Mrs
Clause. The commanding officer and company sergeant major were
seated on the top table with their guests Sergeant Cox and
Corporal Wharton being the most senior male and female and
Cadets Baker and Johnstone being the most junior. The dinner was
followed by a raffle with the lucky cadets winning some great
prizes. This was followed by an excellent disco provided by
Chris Lunan. One cadet had glow sticks on string and was
providing some entertainment to the music which made for some
artistic photos!
