Around 60 cadets and 20 Instructors made up the basic cadre over the Easter weekend. The fast paced cadre saw the Cadets covering many subjects including weapon safety, drill, military knowledge, turnout, air rifle shooting, basic first aid, fieldcraft and physical achievement. On the Saturday night they were treated to a small concert by the Corps of Drums, this allowed them to see if this was another area of the Cadet Force they would like be involved in. The weekend finished with the final parade where each cadet was presented with a certificate and an Easter egg! The cadets and instructors would like to thank Chef David Miller and Kitchen Porter Tracy McLaughlin for the amount of choice, high standard of food and the excellent service they provided. Having also enjoyed their time with us they have decided to come on board as Instructors.Photography by S/Sgt Helen Matthews Please feel free to print them but remember they are Crown Copyright, so you must contact us if you wish to use any in publications or for display anywhere, BEFORE they are used. >> Galley 2010
