Baxterbear’s Easter
I was treekled to spend my Easter with the cadets. As you can see from my pictures I got up to many new and interesting things. I met many new people too including RQMS Russ Guymer, who assists the Quartermaster in issuing uniform and sorting out equipment. Chef David Miller and Kitchen Porter Tracy McLaughlin are lovely people, they produced excellent food and I was treekled that they did bear size portions too! I was confuddled with the X flags Course so have asked Under Officer Helen Matthews if she can arrange for me to do a basic Radio Users Course in the future. I loved listening to the music that the Corps of Drums played, I think the cadets look exceptionally smart in their bright red uniforms and Cpl Jamie Martin let me have a go at playing his drum. Cdt Tamzin Jobson who plays bass drum took an instant shine to me so I had my photo taken with her a couple of times, she made me feel like a celebrity!  I spent some time with the basic cadets on their training weekend where I had a go at drill and I came away from it all with a yummy Easter egg!
