MacMillan Walk
Despite the awful weather and a clash with the Bank holiday weekend over 350 walkers, including our Commandant, Colonel Roger Herriot, completed the trek from Cambridge to Ely, a distance of 19 miles.

Supported by Cambridge ACF 28 cadets and 13 instructors organised the marshalling along the route ensuring walkers stayed on the designated paths; giving support and encouragement to complete the course.

The walk was officially started by the Mayor of Cambridge, Councillor Russ McPherson, at Jesus Green, Cambridge. Baxterbear hitched a ride on the Commandants rucksack, both completing the course raising money for the MacMillan Cancer Support and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
