On
the 26th – 30th August following on from
this year’s Annual Camp 4 Cadets and 1 Instructor went on to do
their Gold DofE. This is the first Gold DofE run by Cambs ACF
for at least 10 years if not longer! The Expedition took place
in Snowdonia over Carneadu, Glyders and the Snowdon ranges. They
faced varied weather conditions, in parts it was extremely windy
with no visibility but the last day was warm and sunny. Captain
Maxwell, Staff Sergeant Sharp and Sergeant Tuite made up the
safety team.
The team who took part in the Expedition were
Sergeant Clendening, Cadet Sergeant Watson, Cadet Corporal Gray,
Cadet Corporal Harding and Cadet Corporal Griffiths.
