Cambridgeshire army cadet leader Major Tony Scales GCGI, of Cockfield, Suffolk, has been recognised for his community based learning achievements at the national CVQO (Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation) graduation ceremony held on Friday 23 October 2009 at the prestigious Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.

Cadets from Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force became champions at the 12th Cadet Forces National First Aid Competition, which took place at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst on Saturday 10th October 2009.

Two St Neots Army cadets won top awards at the national swimming championships held at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst – the British Army’s prestigious officer training college.

After four years as Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force Public Relations Officer Captain Tony Ansell is taking up a new role on 1st October 2009 – and his successor is none other than his current deputy – Staff Sergeant Instructor Helen Matthews from Chatteris.
