Colonel Roger Herriot (58), Commandant of Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force, took part in the MacMillan Walk on the 2nd May. Despite the awful weather and a clash with the Bank holiday weekend he joined over 350 other walkers to complete the trek from Cambridge to Ely, a distance of 19 miles.

Corporal Sam Davies (17) from Aldreth was appointed Cadet Drum Major at the Corps of Drums Training day, held at the Peterborough TA Centre on the 16th January. Captain Lynn Herriot (54) commanding officer of the Corps of Drums presented Sam with his new uniform brassard.
